Dr Monika and Dr Amanda are also accredited at the Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals.

We partner with a highly experienced dually accredited Dietitian & Diabetes educator, Angela Hsiao, to provide comprehensive care. For Gestational and Type 2 diabetes patients Angela can provide

  • Dietary advice and support

  • Diabetes education

  • Start on insulin therapy

Endocrinology focuses on hormonal disturbances and restoring their balance. Hormones are critical to our function and well being.

Some of the conditions we can help with are:

DIABETES

  • Diagnose and treat Diabetes which include Gestational, Type 2, Steroid induced

  • Stabilise on insulin

OSTEOPOROSIS & BONE HEALTH

  • Treat osteopenia and Osteoporosis, including medication induced

  • Treat calcium metabolism disorders and parathyroid disease

THYROID CONDITIONS

  • Diagnose and treat Hypothyroidism (underactive), Hyperthyroidism (overactive) and Thyroiditis

  • Thyroid disease in pregnancy

  • Thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer

OBESITY & WEIGHT MANAGMENT

  • Treat with individualised focus on diet, lifestyle and medical therapy

  • Investigate for secondary causes and underlying metabolic disturbances

POLYCYSTIC OVARIAN SYNDROME

  • Assess women with symptoms that may include menstrual irregularities, acne, excess hair growth in male pattern, weight gain for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and exclude hormonal conditions that mimic PCOS

  • Individualised management of PCOS symptoms

OTHER ENDOCRINE CONDITIONS

  • Lipoedema

  • Menopause and hormone replacement therapy

  • Hormonal disturbances due to medications for other conditions

Public Transport: We are conveniently located in Chatswood, 200m away from the train station and the bus interchange.
Driving: If driving you may park at either the Westfield car park or at Care Park located at 20 Endeavour St, Chatswood 2067.

If running late please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate.

At the Practice

At The Gallery, please take the lift on your left side and press for Level 2. Once you exit the lift you will see the practice entrance right in front of you.

FAQs

We are always available to answer your questions. We have answered some of the more common queries our patients ask.

01/ When is the earliest I can see you?

Please fill in the Appointment Request form and we will contact you to make the appointment and do our best to provide you with an earliest possible timeslot.

For medical emergencies please always call 000.

02/ What do I need to make an appointment?

To make a new appointment please have the following available:

  1. Medicare card if you have one

  2. referral letter from your GP or Specialist

To make a followup appointment, please ensure that your referral letter is still valid. A referral letter issued by a GP is valid for 12 months and one issued by your Specialist is valid for 3 months.

03/ What do I need to bring to the appointment?

Please bring your:

  1. Medicare card (if you have one)

  2. Referral letter

  3. Any recent pathology results such as blood tests, x-rays.

04/ Can I take public transport to your location?

We are conveniently located in Chatswood about 200m away from the train station. If you prefer to drive then you can park at either the Westfield car park or at Care Park located at 20 Endeavour St, Chatswood 2067.

05/ Do you provide Telehealth consults?

Yes. Please indicate your preference on the Appointment Request form. Please note that pre-payment is required for Telehealth consultations.
